| Godt nytt år! |
  Vi skriver allerede 2012. Personlig kan jeg se tilbake på 15 år i arbeidet med å gjøre hverdagen lettere for små og store i Tallinn. Denne julen har vært spesiell, da jeg har hatt to av 14 barn hos meg i juleferien. Jeg har fått oppleve deres store begeistring over juletreet som ble pyntet i stuen vår, og sett iveren når kakedeigen kom på bordet. Ikke rart at det er spesielt da de selv bor på et lite rom sammen med flere voksne. På 9m2 er det ikke mye plass til utskeielser som juletrær eller bord å spise eller bake ved. Ja hvis en er så heldig å ha noe å spise. Men før jul delte senteret ut flere hundre matpakker til våre familier. Vi var flere der før jul og laget juletrefester. Til stor glede for barna. Nissen kom og det ble julegaver med navnet deres på, for første gang opplevde de dette. En mor sa: "Jeg har aldri fått en julegave i hele mitt liv, takk for at barnet mitt fikk oppleve dette!" Takk til deg for din trofasthet, du gjør det mulig at flere barn får et annerledes liv!
Den største gleden du kan ha, det er å gjøre andre glad!

| Tilbake fra Tallinn |
Da er vi tilbake fra Tallinn. Vi har hatt noen veldig givende dager. Noen gleder og noen sorger. Vi har virkelig fått føle at det er et poeng for oss å reise til Tallinn og følge opp prosjektene våres. Viktigheten av å være til stede! Vi har hatt møte med mødre og barn fra Mandalsleiren. Veldig fint møte. Så fikk jeg tegning fra Danil, med et rødt, stort hjerte ♥ Vi har vært i Nümme Tee, på besøk hos de to guttene våres som sitter der. Vi har handlet mat på Rimi sammen med en av de store guttene. Så hadde vi møte med guttene fra Hovden Leiren. Dette var virkelig delte følelser, men jeg er så UTROLIG glad for at jeg tok meg tid og rå til å bry meg! Det er virkelig mange som har det vanskelig i Tallinn. Oppfordre alle til å kjøpe "matpakke" av Solveig til å sende ned!!! 200,- i mat betyr MYE for den som er sulten! Hvor mye betyr 200,- for deg??? Ønsker alle en trygg og god adventstid!

 Kjære fastgiver og støttespiller!
Nå er vi inne i en travel førjulstid, ja vi er allerede i full gang med forberedelser til jul.
12 julebarn kommer fra 20. desember til 3.januar. Disse er i alderen 6-11 år.
15. desember reiser 18 jenter/damer til Tallinn for å lage julefest for 50 barn. Vi vil foruten festen vil vi ta barna med oss på forskjellige aktiviteter i byen. Badeland f.eks. og alle julebarna skal få overnatte en natt med oss på hotellet slik at vi kan bli bedre kjent med hverandre før de blir med oss til Norge og til familier.
JULEMAT - vi vet at når barna har juleferie får de mindre mat. Vanligvis får de et måltid på skolen, for hjemme er det lite mat å glede seg til. Dette vil vi gjøre noe med. Vi selger nå julematkort til 200,- slik at en famile kan få mat i julen i år også. Hvis du vil hjelpe oss ekstra med dette kan du ringe 90184791 og bestille hvor mange kort du vil kjøpe eller selge for oss.
Noen kan ikke hjelpe alle, men alle kan hjelpe noen.

Først vil jeg ønske velkommen til vårt årsmøte. Dette vil bli avholdt i Stavanger i år. Det blir fredag 25.november i Bergelandsgate 24. Tidspunkt: 19.00
Rørende historie!
"Olga" på 7 år står livende redd og holder et godt tak i mors skitne kåpe. De er på matutdeling fra garasjen vår på senteret. Hun betrakter de voksne som smiler og deler ut pose til mor. "Kan jeg stole på disse menneskene"? De kommer tilbake hele etterjulsvinteren og i vår. I høst dukker "Olga" opp alene til matutdeling,hun er blitt 8 år og bak henne står en redd liten jente på 5 år som holder et godt tak i "Olgas" jakke. Hun er sulten, mor er narkoman. Olga sier at de er snille her og hun vil få matpose. Noen bøyer seg ned og tar "Ajonas" hånd for å hilse. Det første møte er over. De to er faste "gjester" på dagsenteret nå. Jeg skal treffe dem begge om en uke. Vi er 7 voksne som reiser til Tallinn for å lage happy day med svømming og bowling. Og vi vil vurdere om disse to jentene skulle fått en tur til Norge til en familie til jul. For de er "våre" barn nå og vi regner med å følge dem i mange år. Desverre! Nøden for våre barn i Tallinn blir ikke mindre--
men vi bryr oss fortsatt, fordi du bryr deg!

| Sommer, leir og årsmøte |
Kjære støttespiller!
Først vil jeg ønske velkommen til vårt årsmøte. Dette vil bli avholdt i Stavanger i år. Det blir fredag 25.november i Bergelandsgate 24. Tidspunkt: 19.00
Vi har flotte tilbakemeldinger fra leirene i sommer. Den siste var jeg selv med på. Det var Lions club som sørget for at 12 jenter i alderen 10-12 år fikk 10 uforglemmelige dager i Lillesand. I vakre omgivelser på Skogerøya. Til og med ordfører tok turen til øya for å hilse på jentene. Fisketur og krabbefangst. Høydepunktet var nok Dyreparken i Kristiansand. Uforpliktende dager for barna.
12 gutter fikk vandre fra hytte til hytte i vakre Hovden fjellene. Godt opplegg og godt vennskap ble knyttet. Det var Heidi og Knut Inge Repstad som arrangerte dette fantastiske oppholdet.
